Leah Buckingham
Program Coordinator
Leah has been part of the KEEN community since her son was little; he is now 15 and continues to participate as a KEEN athlete. Leah is also a mom to a 12-year-old daughter. Leah brings many years of personal experience as a parent in the intellectual and developmental disability community and feels confident and knowledgeable in supporting individuals and families. She also works in a school setting and has a background in Occupational Therapy Assisting (OTA), which has given her additional experience supporting individuals with diverse needs. Leah is known for being friendly, welcoming, and always ready with a smile or a laugh. She is passionate about creating an inclusive and positive environment where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and celebrated.
Outside of KEEN, Leah enjoys spending time with her family and their four dogs—the “doodle crew”—and being outdoors whenever she can. She also loves music and dancing and looks forward to seeing all the smiles and joy at KEEN events.
