Awards and Grants
In other cities where KEEN programs have a longer history, affiliates have an impressive record of receiving awards and grants from their local communities. As KEEN St. Louis develops, we hope to achieve a level of recognition similar to that of our sister affiliate in Washington, DC. Highlights of their awards and grants are below:

KEEN Greater DC was selected for inclusion in the 2005 Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington as one of the small charities "making a difference" in the DC area.

KEEN Greater DC was also recognized by the Federal Communications Bar Association Foundation. In 2005 they named KEEN Greater DC the sole beneficiary of the procedes of their annual silent auction - over $76,000 - to bring KEEN programs into the underserved area of Southeast DC.

CURE AUTISM NOW, for the second consecutive year, has donated 10% of the registration proceeds from its July 4th 5K in Potomac, MD to KEEN Greater DC.

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Washingtonian Magazine name KEEN Greater DC as one of the "40 organizations [that] strengthen the bodies and spirits of young Washingtonians."
